The short version
- Masoosh runs in your browser. Your progress is saved on your own device, not on our servers, and there is no account to make.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. We do not follow you around the web, and we never sell your information.
- If a stage asks for your microphone, the sound is measured live on your device and never recorded or sent to anyone.
- We only receive what you choose to send us: a bug report, a creator application, a waitlist sign-up, or an email.
- Donations are handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.

Who we are
Masoosh is made by Shock Agent Studios ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Masoosh websites (playmasoosh.com and footmassagegame.com), the game you play in your browser there, and the desktop version of the game. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at hello@playmasoosh.com.
If you get Masoosh through a store such as Steam or itch.io, that store also handles some of your information under its own privacy policy, for example your account and any purchase.
What do we mean by personal information?
Anything that identifies you, or could be linked back to you: your name, your email address, your social media handles, your phone number, and technical details such as the IP address your device uses to connect to us.
What we collect, and why
Here is everything that reaches us, where it comes from, and what we use it for.
| What | What it includes | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Visiting the site or playing | Standard web server logs: your IP address, browser and device type, the page or file requested, and the time. | To deliver the site and the game, keep them secure, stop abuse and fix technical problems. |
| Bug reports | What you write, the name you give (optional), and the technical details shown on the report form before you send it: game version, stage, grade, screen size, browser, a summary of your save progress, and your IP address. | To find and fix the problem you reported. |
| Creator applications | Your name, age, email address, phone number (optional), TikTok, Instagram and X handles, how you would like to be contacted, your comments, and your IP address. | To review your application and get back to you about building a stage with you. |
| TUNAS waitlist | Your email address, the page you signed up on, and your IP address (sign-ups at jointunas.com, our sister app). | To tell you when TUNAS launches. |
| Emails you send us | Your email address and whatever you choose to write. | To answer you. |
| Donations | Stripe processes your payment on its own secure page. We receive a confirmation from Stripe with your name, email address and the amount, never your card number. | To keep records of donations and thank you. |
Where the law asks us to name a legal basis: we rely on your consent when you choose to send a report, an application or an email; on the steps needed at your request to consider working with you as a creator; and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working site for the server logs.
What stays on your device
Your progress, gold, collection, settings, language choice and the player name you type in are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not sent to us, unless you include a save summary in a bug report or share a save code yourself. Clearing your browser's data for this site deletes them, so keep a save code if you want a backup.
Microphone. A few stages can use your microphone, and only after you agree in the game and in your browser. The sound is analysed live on your device to measure how loud it is. It is never recorded, stored, or sent to us or anyone else. You can say no and still play.
Cookies
We do not use cookies, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The browser storage described above is only used to make the game work. Stripe's donation page is run by Stripe and may use its own cookies; see Stripe's privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who handle it on our behalf, only to run the service:
- DigitalOcean: hosts our website, game and the server that stores reports and applications.
- Cloudflare: provides the footmassagegame.com address and forwards emails sent to our addresses.
- Stripe: processes donations.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or to protect our rights. If Masoosh is ever sold or transferred, this policy will continue to apply to the information we hold.
Our pages link to Instagram, TikTok and X. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link there.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: around two weeks, then automatically deleted.
- Bug reports: until the issue is resolved and for as long as they help us keep the game working, and no longer than two years.
- Creator applications: up to two years after we were last in touch, unless we end up working together, in which case our agreement with you applies.
- TUNAS waitlist: until launch and for as long as you stay subscribed.
- Emails and donation records: as long as needed to answer you and to meet tax and accounting rules.
You can ask us to delete any of it sooner (see your rights).
How we protect it
Security
Every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), with modern security headers. Reports and applications are stored on our own server, not in a third-party form tool.
Limited access
Only the people who make Masoosh can read what you send, and the pages that show it are protected by a secret key.
Careful sharing
We only use the providers listed above, and only for the purposes described.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU, the UK and California), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop us from using it, or object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent you gave.
- Take it with you in a common format.
To use any of these rights, email hello@playmasoosh.com. We will answer within 30 days. We will never treat you differently for asking.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information to profile you.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your information unlawfully, please tell us first so we can put it right. If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred out of the EU or UK.
Age
Masoosh is made for adults, and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and creator applications are only accepted from people aged 18 or older. If you believe someone under 18 has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
